Proof
These days I lie with contracts & gentlemanly vows
back to back, this was never about love.
Like echoes each contract haunts; I want to pin them down
against the right walls. Before they meet Tomorrow
and combust, as if it were planned. My eyebrows rise
and curve in woe. The eyes obey and release tears. Helpless.

Father’s day
