I mean to be back from my little haitus.
I have news: henceforth, this portion of the ngwatilo.com site shall feature poem and song kernals, and ramblings that are trying to grow up into the stuff of poems and songs.
This portion of the site also invites your thoughts, your poem kernals, comments and discussions raised from the various threads. It is one portion of this grand plan I am working on, that may take some time to effect – such is this particular moment of my life. At the same time, this particular moment of my life is willing itself to make things happen. so expect the unexpected.
today, I would like to teach you how to pronounce NGWATILO. I should first tell you tht it is not an English word. It is a Bantu word, that I’m told should properly occur as Ng’watilo. Pronounced as NGWA-TI-LO. N in “Ngwa” is one syllable, like “Ngombe” – that sort of sound. It means “to hold on to”
Who are you, what do you “hold to” or believe? Why?

who am i??what do i hold to???most days i think i know who i am, but other days stuff happens to make me wonder what really do i know about myself……maybe i recreate myself everyday, this cameleon always trying to adapt. i love the post about today i got tested, i hate needles n blood but i think for my sake i’ll test for breast cancer soon coz my mom was diagnosed with it and we were lucky it was diagnosed early……

Yvonne. I lied. I knew I lied when you posted, but now i know why. It’s not really “Ngwatilo” like “Ngombe”. It’s more like “Ngazi.” with a “w.” I think u always said it right…

today I’m red hot, not hot like wow I’m smokin in my dress code but i’m seething in anger!yeah one of those days where I question everything and the world isn’t such a hot place! I’m definitely red today and I’m not liking it!
